Affable Chat is a podcast started by best friends Joey and Benjamin. Every week they talk about movies pop culture, or anything else. Frustrated with the current state of movie podcasts, the two set forward to create something that treats this modern medium with the respect and depth it deserves. Every episode is a deep dive into the most notable films of the last two decades and beyond. 4 years later, Affable Chat is more than a movie podcast, but a YouTube channel, a twitch stream, and a nonstop showcase of talented creators.
Joey has watched at least 100 movies and has read at least one book. Once he worked at a Blockbuster and another time he worked at a movie theater. He spends most of his free time watching Minecraft speedruns and eating chocolate.
Benjamin is friendly guy who watches movies and then talks about them very powerfully. He’s a ‘Sports Andy’ on the side and enjoys laughing.
